I struggle with anxiety and diagnosed with PTSD. Stress is a part of my life and it was not before I started playing an fps with my friends I slowly learned how to manage it better.

With some fps there are many intense situations where you don't want to let your friends down. I was clenching my jaw as a response to the stress and I remember it hurting after a few hours.

However slowly but steady I started learning how to handle the situations better and keep my head cool.

It seems silly, but normally I would run away from any situation that would stress me out so games were a good introduction to high pressure situations.

My teammates taught me that making mistakes was not the end of the world after all. It rewired the common thinking pattern that was hammered into my brain where the smallest of mistakes was met with punishment.

Now playing games are a stress release and helps me release tension.

So in short games taught me how to handle stress better!

Playing games as a girl is, without a doubt, a very different experience from playing games as a boy. MMOs are one of the biggest genres in the gaming industry and if you want to join in as a girl, you have to learn how to stand up for yourself. By playing games, I have learned much more than how to aim well or type quickly – I have learned how to pick my battles, how to argue my points, and how to let an insult become a learning opportunity. I believe myself to be a more empathetic, socially aware, and rhetorically competent person than I would be had I grown up without playing games. Gaming is something that is often perceived as a waste of time but there are endless skills that it can teach you – and that it can help you teach others.

Gaming is what I do when I don't play sports and it's the best way for me to rest and relax. I'd really want at least a new computer so that I can play and have fun with my friends. I am a big Legion fan and have always wanted to have a Legion laptop but haven't got any. Therefore my biggest wish is to finally feel the power that the laptop have. I've seen multiple reviews and it seems sick! Thanks and good luck everyone!

I haven't been gaming for too long, but I've noticed already that it has made me more social. Maybe not with the outside world yet, but with my siblings etc. I've had a fear of talking on the phone and things for a while now, but gaming has made it a little better.
IT has also improved my hand work a lot. Having quick, controlled movements with the mouse in most games is important, and that has helped me with my control of my hand. Drawing is a little easier. My reflexes are slightly more sharp now, too.
Gaming as also helped me with my mentality! It gives me a chance to get away from stressful thoughts for a moment and focus in the gaming. It also usually leaves a good feeling after I stop, so whenever I do, it's always nice to continue my day.

Gaming has evolved me to handle stressfull days, to be more patient in life. To push myself when things are hard and not give up. Try to achieve the things i want in life as well in games. To accept that I won’t always get what I want when I want it, but if I work hard I can.

I have developed inter personal skills, meaning I've learned to talk and behave around people.

    Which is nice.

Gaming was instrumental in teaching me english at an early age, skilles i still use to this day. Furthermore, gaming has taught me to not give up when the going gets tough.

    Hi everyone 😊😊.
Im happy as i developed pattern recognition skills and communication skills, after playing with a clan online with various ages and world of concept!

The gaming made my fear of math slightly dissapear, as i saw patterns more easily and had an improved abstract thinking of possibillities… and the communication with my Clan since junior high in Sweden, developed my empathy and leader skills… plus my humour hehe - the joking around and friendship also gave a sense of developement, that i really cherish 😊
