Gaming has evolved me in a lot of different ways. I think I have improved most in communicating with others and social skills. I have also learned to speak and understand many languages much better. Gaming pushes you to think and stay focused all the time. So I think gaming has helped me with school, too. Especially it has helped with long school days and projects. Gaming gives new perspectives, they're helpful in many situations.
Now, when I start thinkin, I notice there are so much things that have evolved me. I have not just thought about those before. Thank you Legion.

From a decades long gaming hobby I've learnt a bunch of useful skills. Good English grammar, problem solving skills and a lot of interest and knowledge about computer usage. These have enabled me to get a career going on in IT field.

Just sitting down and playing some fun game is also a very good way to relax after a hectic day.

Gaming has for one taken my verbal English from alright to fluent with adaptable accents.
It has gained me friends, and made me more patient. I have also broken the male stereotype of not reading instructions, as it has lead to some very tedious issues in certain games.
Also given me a greater appreciation for the need to take care of my mental health, which gaming does to an extent!

Gaming has allowed me to get to know amazing people from different cultures, and I have learned to become very humble and open to learn. Often I meet people who does not have a place in their society so they use gaming as a safe place and coping mechanism. i do the same, and I have travelled and met people in other countries, learned to write arabic and greek, learned how to listen to other peoples needs, Comfort others, how to co-operate with different people, learned english.. I love to connect with people and at the same time If i feel exhausted I can always play a single player game :'3

I started gaming 30 years ago with Nintendo Donkey Kong handheld device. After that many games and devices have been a joy and hobby to me.

They have given me also skills on the areas of problem solving and concentration, which I use in my work every day. There is a social aspect also, we used to gather with my friends almost every day after school to play Sinclair zx Spectrum and Commodore 64 games.

It's the same thing today -get together with friends- I think, only they are partly on the internet. If I win this Lenovo gaming computer, I will play Battlefield 2042 (and BF2142) and make some new friends there.

Back in 9th grade I was very distant and had few to zero friends. During the summer I found a discord server which held weekly game sessions in various games, I loved the community and became much more social, if it hadn’t been for my love in games I’d never find them.

Gaming has changed my life. I used to be very antisocial before but wen I started to play online games slowly but surely I started to cominicat with different people not just in my country but in the how world, little by little started to be more open and not scared to cominicat with new people, started to make friends, and it even helped me start my first relationship ( it wasn't for very long but it was something). So if there was no videogames I wouldn't have ever gotten out of my comfort zone, and in prove my life in a way.
