    Hi,

I use a Lenovo 5i pro, 11800H, RTX 3070. When I downloaded Throttlestop and went to the configuration I could clock the process up to 5.0Ghz. Is it just for me or normal for everyone?

    Hi @Farhanito

Yes, you can overclock your CPU with third-party softwares - but I would not suggest that as it always comes with a risk and there's a real possibility it will cause harm for your laptop. If something happens to your laptop due overclocking, warranty won't be there to help you out.

I would suggest taking GeForce Experience instead to update your gaming drivers & optimize your games according to your gaming laptop settings. You can also check out pre-installed app Lenovo Vantage to see if it offers any kind of supported overclocking options.

Thanks for the quick reply buddy.

I am aware of the risks for third party softwares. I have been using them since I moved from desktops to gaming laptop(5-6years).

I use them for reduced heat and extending the battery on my gaming laptop. I just noticed this was my first gaming laptop I could overclock and it's just a H series and not a HK series.
