    Hello Legion Gamers!

Earlier this week, I wrote a little post about the upcoming My Little Puppy game, and the idea that I got back then was that it was cute and vibrant enough to dispel the Autumn blues in a sweet, melancholic way.

But then I thought, everyone has their own way of coping. Cute angel doggies in a vibrantly colourful afterlife may work for some, but others may favour dynamic shooters or rogue-like (like Hades 2) or chill life sims with friendly characters (like Stardew Valley) or meticulous planning of supply chains to occupy the mind like in Factorio.

Well, about 2 last options at least, we've just had an interesting addition to the game pool: a game called Little Rocket Lab! Check it out, it looks as if Stardew Valley and Factorio had a baby:

The game invites us to a little town called St. Ambroise where you get to take on an enormous undertaking of building a rocket. No small task, it will require building a complex production infrastructure all over the town. But, of course, there is plenty to do besides that, like exploring the town and its inhabitants ( @Telomina that's something you may like) , playing with your dog ( @ZaidH that's something you may like), riding a giant toaster robot ( @DracoTarot and that may be something you may like 😉) or chasing a sentient washing machine (not sure who may like that, but maybe we got someone? 😅).

And the game is already out since yesterday, with a full release and a free demo available on Steam. And GamePass, I think. And it has a Very Positive score on Steam already, too.

So if this looks tempting enough, my hope is that it could be a nice little game to play this Autumn 😊

Thank you for the tag. It might be a bit too factory/automation for me. Looks cute still!

@Telomina To be honest, I wholeheartedly agree. It looked interesting to me, so I gave the demo a try this week, and there is too much automation for me as well. To the point where it felt overwhelming and stressful more than fun.

But I am not a fan of automation games in general, I do not have the patience for all those supply chain constructions. Those who enjoy games like that, Factorio or Oxygen Not Included or Satisfactory will likely enjoy this one as well. But my initial impression is that it has more from those games than from the likes of Stardew Valley.

Though I'll give the demo a few more tries, I wonder if the second impression would be the same as the first 😅

That actually sounds really fun — kind of like a cozy builder with a twist of engineering chaos. I love the idea of mixing small-town vibes with something as ambitious as building a rocket. Definitely getting Stardew-meets-Factorio energy from it. Gonna check out the demo; seems perfect for some chill Autumn evenings.

As fun as dating one? 😉 And you're welcome 😊

@Enrico4488 I tried it and found it a bit unpolished yet. For example, it does not pause the game when you talk to someone (the way Stardew Valley does), and that puts some pressure on gamers to read dialogue as fast as possible, which can also be challenging for non-English speakers. I am hoping that after a few quality-of-life patches, it will be better.
