I’ve been playing Grow a Garden on Roblox and I’m really surprised by how addictive it is—it’s like a blend of Stardew Valley and idle mechanics, but it’s massive now with record-breaking player counts. Curious to see how they’ll keep evolving the gameplay!

Grow a Garden breaking 16 million concurrent players on June 14 is incredible—it even surpassed Fortnite’s record! 😲 Love how this simple gardening sim, originally built by a teen in just a few days, keeps evolving with new events like ‘Working Bees’. Makes me wonder what they’ll add next to stay that engaging.

@dela2509991 To be honest, I do not really get the "idle mechanics", I think I mentioned it not that long ago when EGS had an idle game on free offer. What is the point of sitting irl, not playing the game but waiting for something in it to happen? I did not like the idle elements that they had in Dragon Age: Inquisition to a degree where I used a mod to get rid of them. If anyone does "get" the fun in "idle" games, please share.

I think what makes Grow a Garden so appealing is how stress-free it feels. You don’t need fast reflexes or complicated mechanics—just a chill loop of planting, upgrading, and watching your garden thrive. It’s crazy how such a simple concept became one of the biggest games on Roblox right now.
