@ramax Well, whatever you do, do not mess with the chocolate. We need our chocolate, and Belgium is where we get it. 🍫

Oh, I remember this, I think you shared it some time ago! Good to see it seems to be doing well: convention tables, second volume...who knows, maybe a game adaptation is not out of the question? 😉

@DoctorEldritch yes, 140 mangas sold so far in 5 months, but I only do small shows. Space is far too expensive for me in the big cities. ($450 for a small table) But it'll come!
Make a video game out of it! That's my dream... To start slowly, maybe a "visual novel" ... but then I'm aiming for netflix and the cinema :p

@DoctorEldritch Yes Tintin is from Belgium just like French fries 😜 but the game "Tintin au Tibet" was made by Infogrames which was (is ?) a French company (now it's known as ATARI SA)

@ramax I really wish you'll realize those objectives, I will take a Netflix subscription just for you 😁

@ramax When you do arrive at the "visual novel" stage, you could take a look at @Adeptus visual novel game that he shared here. For tips and inspiration 😊

@GoLLuM13 I wonder why there aren't that many games about Tintin these days, from Belgium, France or anywhere else. We have this cast of nostalgia characters like him or the Pink Panther (which I know is an American franchise, but Inspector Jacques Clouseau is a French police detective), and they had some games in the past, but no good ones for a while. In this age of relaunching and nostalgia-based marketing, I wonder why there aren't that many of those...

Maybe as more people learn about "Tintin au Tibet", we'll end up getting new games.

@DoctorEldritch There were a game in 2023 "Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh" published by Microids (French company) but I can't say more, because I didn't try the game or was into it to begin with 👀

@GoLLuM13 There are some games, but no good ones. That one you mentioned is Mixed on Steam, and to be honest, I can see why 😅

It's more like, Tintin was such a pillar of Belgian comics history, it deserves a good game adaptation. Many comics do, like Peanuts, or Diabolik. Or, going back to France, Fantomas, although not originally a comic character, had a new visual novel published not that long ago, The Wrath of Fantomas. It'd be nice if we could get a game with him out of it, too.

Wishuf thinking, but TellTale, at least the original one, did a good job with both Walking Dead ( @DracoTarot, a nod to you) and Fables, a bit less so for Batman, but still. If the new studio is looking for new IPs to adapt after they are done with Wolf Among Us 2, I'd pitch one of those.
