Recently for me gaming has became stale and I feel like there aren’t any good new multiplayer or single player games so just wanted to ask you all for recommendations and what addictive games there still is.

Before recommending a game, it’d help if you could let us know which games you've already played that you consider to be straight 10 out of 10s 😄

Edit: Oh btw the folks in this community have been playing Marvel Rivals together for the past few weeks, and my god it feels like the devs have made every attempt in the world to make the game addictive. If you're free on Thursdays, then maybe you can join us for a session 😁

@btl999 At the moment I play a lot of chess.com, but it's not the game with the most beautiful graphics 😭

I'm back to the amazing skies of Forza Horizon 5 these days...

New games are never the best games. This is a bit harder for multiplayer games (as the playerbase of a new game vs. an older game is very different), but don't look for fun singleplayer games in new releases, would be my advice. Look through Steam recommendations, search by genre, and play some demos!

Not sure what kind of games you have played recently but I totally understand that feeling sometimes. Lately I've been hooked on Helldivers 2 for co-op chaos and Baldur’s Gate 3 if you're into deep single-player RPGs. Both are super engaging and easy to sink hours into!

I like Death Stranding, because it's got some meditative, contemplative and Wandervogel-esque aspects to it, a departure from the kill / blood / war / gore vibe that permeates many of the popular FPS games these days...

Oh man, I have been playing sekiro for the past few months, I have been very infrequent in these gaming sessions but I love the game.

I have died so many times, but online tutorials keep me moving forward everytime.

My last game was Ghost of Tsushima and it was a 10/10 game, loved it and would recommend it to anyone without skipping a heartbeat. I wanted to match the same japanese samurai/shinobi theme, but sekiro is kicking mas ass dude.

You seriously need to check out Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

It’s not just another RPG—it’s one of the most visually stunning and emotionally charged games coming out in a long time.

Imagine a game where turn-based combat feels like an action game—because here, it actually does. You don’t just click and watch attacks happen; you time your actions, dodge in real time, and aim like you’re playing a shooter. It’s tactical and dynamic at the same time.
But that’s not even the best part.
What really sets Expedition 33 apart is the world and story. The whole setting feels like Dark Souls meets French surrealist art, with a painter wiping people from existence year by year—literally erasing their age from the world with her brush. You play as one of the last remaining fighters trying to break that cycle before your entire generation disappears.
If you liked Final Fantasy, NieR Automata, or even Persona, this game taps into that energy—but it does something new with it. The art direction is jaw-dropping, and the characters are full of heart and mystery. It’s not afraid to be philosophical and weird in a good way.

    Why you should try it:

    • Turn-based combat reimagined with action mechanics
    • A beautiful, dark, painterly world you’ve never seen before
    • Emotional, end-of-the-world story with real stakes
    • A fresh RPG that’s not a sequel, remake, or rehash

Trust me—it’s not just a game, it’s an experience. If you're even a little tired of the same old stuff, Clair Obscur will be a breath of fresh, bizarre, and unforgettable air.
