    @korowiof Well, yesterday (6th of February) was the Optimist Day. When else to be an optimist if not then? 😉

    Though my reasoning is mostly practical to save some time: if you finish the game, and then DLC comes out, you need to start the game again to check out new content, which takes time, and if you did not keep your saves, then it can take a lot more time, and who has that? So I play the games once I am sure all DLCs are out and to see everything (or, well, most things) only need to play it once. There are exceptions, of course, roguelike games are designed to be played repeatedly and continuously, but generally waiting for GOTY or something like that is my usual MO.
