    Hello Legion Gamers!

A small piece of news for all game-inspired animation fans out there: this weekend, the second (and last) season of LoL Arcan has come to an end.

We had to wait for a while as the first season was released back in 2021, but now the Vi and Jinx sisters (and Piltover and Zaun) saga has come to an end. And it was a turbulent one, so much so that Christian Linke was worried about how the final episode would be received. Turns out he did not have to though, as it was very well received and the overall score of Arcane on IMDb is over 9.5 points now. Even though the most liked episode is still the 6th one (maybe it will change in the next few weeks):

Probably because of the Isha arc. All good things come to an end. But while Arcane may be over, the LoL-inspired animation is not, in fact, Christian Linke mentioned three spin-offs that may be in the worst for the future where we may see Noxus, Ionia and Demacia, and their champions.

And while we wait, there is always the LoL itself as well as other games set in that universe, stories like CONVERGENCE for metroidivania fans ( @halonfire you know that one?), Ruined King for turn-based fans (need to try it again after Arcane, I think) and Song of Nunu for platformer fans.

And if you like the LoL universe and played all those games already, or you're missing Jinx from the series, well, the new point-and-click minigame is coming in just about 2 weeks where Jinx will fix everything:

But for now, we say farewell to Arcane. I watched the last episode this weekend (I binge-watched both seasons to be exact. Wanted to binge-watch only the second one, but after I started I realised I do not remember much, so had to do so for both of them. So that was my weekend). I liked it and can share the sentiment that it is good, if a bit cliched, but such is often the case these days. Has anyone else seen it yet?

Started on the 2nd season, nowhere near finishing it yet tho. So far, so good.

@uptjackmalo It may be a good idea to watch the first season again before the second one if you watched it in 2021. This is what I had to do, I forgot most of the things that happened.

Oh right, the Helikopterrånet, I forgot they released it recently. Is it good? Criminal dramas are not really my thing without a fantasy element (I started but did not finish Bron) but this one has the benefit of being based on a real story. @DracoTarot may like it. And I hear they based one of GTA 5 heist missions on it.

@miskkie If you end up enjoying it, there's more where that came from. So far the rumour has it that they are working on 3 new seasons for next year:

It seems that they would have a united mainstream plotline, but each take place in a different region of Runeterra and focuses on the local champions, starting with Noxus.

Seems very ambitious, it took them 3 years to make 2 seasons, and now they are planning to make 6 seasons in one year. Maybe if they hire different teams that will be possible, but then the style may be inconsistent, and the style was always one of the most impressive aspects of the Arcane series. We'll see how it goes...

Still, series plans aside, it is nice to see how the show and the game affect one another: the series takes much from the game, but also gives back: reportedly, LoL will be getting an update soon that will change Victor's look and backstory a bit to align him more with the series counterpart, as series lore fits him better now. This is the relationship between a series and a game that I like to see, shame it does not happen more often. Then again, game-based series are rare as it is. Thankfully only 2 weeks left until Secret Level comes out...
