BRIBERY is the worst RNG card in my opinion, imperial diplomary and other 4 to 6p create cards are also too much but not like BRIBERY, a 8p card which creates 13p brilliant cards or 4p uselss cards, i dont even like it when i used it to win.
Alzur spawn 6p units up to 12 point, just no sense.
They two gains too much point in a random way which cost too little.

I think like most games that have a large draw of people playing there has to be some amount of RNG as it keeps things interesting and the results changeable. In a competitive format less RNG is preferred, however for the people watching it is more exciting. It's a fine balance between the two and where the balance gets tipped exactly can be difficult to say.

I don't think any amount of RNG is 'required' for the game to maintain its state and obviously be competitive. Gwent already has such diverse and vast mechanics that the argument of the game otherwise becoming boring and repetitive is void, in my opinion. Cards with RNG are definitely welcome in any card game but when they enter the meta and meddle with the opponents game-plan by the sole reason of luck it is a very frustrating situation, one much more frequent and harmful to the playerbase compared to the game becoming boring or stale due to the lack of RNG.

@TheaBeasty RNG is the key in a Card Game to make it more exciting, it had a spicy thing that deny the boring aspect that some game usually have. But has many things it's not Yes or No, it has to be balanced, even more in a Card Game that has same mechanics has Gwent.
The fact that u can't withdraw card by using other card (don't mind ciri) makes it like RNG is even more important in your early mooligans and card that randomly play something from your deck

I think Gwent needs to adjust some Card, nerf some and buff others.

I personally think RNG in Gwent is as it is is great. The create tag is not too oppressive usually only spawning bronze cards that odds of finding a specific card you want is quite
low, yet at the same time you don't lose on too many points.
Also cards as cantarella require a bit of a set type and with the recent change to Witcher alchemist I think there is no problem with how RNG works right now.

My opinion on the matter is that as long as it doesn't reach Hearthstones level it should be fine. I really like how RNG can spice up a game and add a chance to come back when behind (or alternatively absolutely screw yourself over)
In Gewnt specific cards like Cantarella have a way to make them even more reliable and not be based off RNG as much. Being able to still control the chances a little bit makes the RNG better in this game.

Just made a account to quickly give my opinion. I think gwent at its current state is perfect i wouldnt mess around with the RNG. With that said. I dont see why there should be a limit on the amount of RNG !
